Portobello vodka sauce?
Looking for a spaghetti sauce Portobello which is red (no cream) and a vodka in it. You have a pot of d'un discount store and have not been able to find it. I am looking for a recipe for this kind of sauce. Thank you in advance for your suggestions. Thank you.
The vodka sauce, by definition, almost always the cream in it. However, according to the recipe, you might not be able to say that it is there. Here is a recipe for a vodka sauce which seems to correspond visually what you describe. Here is what I would do http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Vodka-Sauce/Detail.aspx (And HM, I can do tomorrow, because it starts to sound yummy!): First, read the recipe above, from beginning to end. Then, as it's cooking for those 30 minutes, do the following: Blowing up a portobello mushroom or two in a skillet over medium-high, with a little oil olive, an onion. Cook 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now lower the heat down and add some minced garlic. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring every minute or two. Now cover the pan (not too tight, or is wet), and turn off the burner, but leave the pan on the burner. When the vodka sauce recipe is to simmer, stir in the contents of your pan of the goodness of Portobello. And add a cup of 1.4 to 1.2 liquid (broth, vodka, wine, water) and simmer very low at least 10-15 minutes if you're in a hurry, but the best (one hour or even two) so that the flavors blend. Then serve and enjoy! 
I recommend chopping the ingredients before you start, then everything will be fine and will be timed right.

Mix with milk or cream, and some chocolate syrup or chocolate vodka or whatever, and amaretto if you like. Then you have a Mounds/Almond Joy kind of flavor!
