When I was a child growing up on the family farm small dairy farm in Wisconsin, before there were things like instant cocoa drink is and my mother and my sister is hot chocolate.

– From sugar 1 / 2 cup
– Cocoa 1 / 3 cup
– Pinch of salt
– 1 1 / 2 cups water
– 4 cups milk
– 1 / 4-1 / 2 tsp teaspoon vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan. Gradually stir in water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil for several minutes. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil, but hardly a boil. Stir in vanilla.

Beat with hand mixer before serving.

If a sweet drink is desired, add another tablespoon coffee sugar after it has been poured into a cup.

Instant Cocoa Mix

Christmas (or birthday gift) idea: Put the cocoa mixture in jars or cans of beer half-pint. Set the lids on the jars. Place a square of fabric with a pattern of rent (or model) on her on the cover. Screw the ring. Tie a ribbon around the lid of the jar. This recipe makes about four quarts.

6 cups dry skim milk

1 cup cocoa powder

2 cups sugar

Measure all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended. Store in a covered container.

Use 2-4 tablespoons of the mixture (to taste) a cup or a mug of hot water.

A pickle is such a dish that is famous around the world. It is manufactured from a variety of ingredients such as different fruit or vegetables. The spices also change accordingly. The pickle recipes are numerous but the basic recipe remains the same. Primarily, cucumbers, raw mangoes, onions, carrot, limes etc are used to make pickles. In India it is eaten as a side dish whereas in America This is an appetizer. Pickles are mainly prepared to reserve food. Stripping allows them to last longer, even 1 or 2 years.

There are a number of pickle recipes. Hence the most famous are those described below. The cucumber pickle is made with the following ingredients;

1. 2 cups medium cucumbers
2. 1 cup onion
3. 1 cup vinegar
4. ¼ cup kosher salta
5. 1 cup water
6. ¾ cup sugar
7. ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
8. 1 / 2 teaspoon Coffee turmeric
9. ½ teaspoon ginger
10. ½ teaspoon celery seed

Wash cucumbers well. Cut thin slices and Jeep aside. Mix well the onions, salt and cucumbers. Keep the mixture aside for about 1 to 2 hours. Drain the liquid. Cook remaining ingredients in a large pot correctly. Add the cucumber, salt and onions in the pot. Boil for about 7 to 10 minutes until crisp and tender. Store marinate in sterilized jars for about a month. After a month the pickle is ready to eat.

Instead of cucumbers, onions, cauliflower, green tomatoes can also be used. The pickle recipe same applies to all these vegetables. The brine solution of vinegar remains the same. In America, the recipes are pickles made with vinegar. However, India and other countries Asia Southeast Vegetable oil is used instead of vinegar.

Pickle Recipes in India are made using raw mangoes, limes, tamarind, and tomatoes with a number of spices and vegetables especially oil. The ingredients in the brine are

1. Files (6 to 7 nos) / raw mango / carrot / tomato / tamarind
2. salt to taste
3. vegetable oil
4. 1 tablespoon powder Chile
5. Cloves garlic (5 to 6 nos) optional
6. Ginger flakes (optional)
7. 1 tablespoon turmeric
8. 2 tablespoons coffee powder fenugreek

Wash the limes / pieces of raw mango / tamarind pieces or any other ingredients well. Slice or cut into quarters in retain their juices. Take oil in a large pot. Add powder, turmeric, pepper, salt and fenugreek and cook well. Acclimation should be checked correctly. Cool the mixture, then add slices of the main ingredient. Mix well to blend the mixture is evenly distributed to all parts. Store marinate in sterilized jars for some time until all the ingredients to settle. After the settling, the brine can be eaten by the jars. Pickle Recipes May not change but the ingredients do not change. Each recipe made with a different ingredient tastes just as good and taste.
