5 Great Recipes for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to share memories and enjoy wonderful meals consist of and unique. If you need great recipe ideas below are five great recipes for Thanksgiving that your family is sure to love.

(1) Sweet Potato Surprise

• 3 medium sweet potatoes
• ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
• ¼ cup raisins
• ¼ cup marshmallows
• 1 cup orange juice
• 3 c. soup. walnuts, chopped
• 2 c. soup. butter, melted
• ¼ c. Tea Salt
• 1 tsp soup. cornstarch

Preheat oven to 350. Boil the sweet potatoes. Run the cold water over the potatoes and let them air dry to cool. Once cooled, you can peel. Cut the potatoes into pieces about 2 inches. In 9-inch baking potatoes arrange to your liking. Combine raisins, corn starch, and orange juice. Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly. Add salt and butter in the pan. Mixture will become thick and that is when it is done. Pour on potatoes. Sprinkle with marshmallows and chopped nuts. Bake for 20 minutes. Yields 6-8 servings.

(2) Pumpkin Bread

• 2 eggs
• 1 / 3 cup water
• 1-8 oz can pumpkin
• A 1 ¼ cup flour
• 1 / 3 cup shortening
• 1 1 / 3 cup sugar
• 1 tsp Tea. baking soda
• ½ tsp. cinnamon
• 1 / 3 c. Tea. salt
• 1 / 3 c. Tea. baking powder
• 2 / 3 cup raisins (optional)
• 2 / 3 cup nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. Whisk together sugar and shortening. Add pumpkin, eggs and water. Blend until smooth. Add flour and sugar. Stir in raisins and nuts, if desired. Add baking soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Grease 9-inch pan. Cook oven for 1 hour. A toothpick inserted comes out clean when done. Cool. Serve with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

3) Green bean pan

• 2 cans (8 ounces each) cut green beans
• 2 cups brown rice, uncooked
• 1 sm. Regular pot cheese wiz
• 1 sm. jar jalapeno cheese wiz
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 2 / 3 cup butter melted
• ½ cup chopped onion
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 cup grated cheese favorites

Preheat oven to 350. Measure the rice with precision. Cook rice per package instructions. Drain rice completely. Let rice sec. Add the green beans. Combine soup and butter together until creamy. Combine the two mixtures together. Add both jars of cheese. Add cheese gradually stirring as you go. Add garlic and onions. Prior to oiled baking pan, a pot of shredded cheese of your choice. I prefer mozzarella. Bake 50 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and has started to brown on

Pasta Salad

Cook pasta until done, drain. Chill in refrigerator for at least an hour. Run the pasta in cold water before starting to prepare. Add vegetables to pasta. Mix in a cup Italian dressing. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired. Serve with whole wheat crackers.

(5) Orange Cranberry

• 7 slices of bread
• ¼ cup butter
• 2 medium oranges
• ½ c. Tea. poultry seasoning
• Â ½ cup cranberry sauce, canned
• 1 cup chopped celery
• 1 cup red onion
• 1 cup chicken broth

Take slices of bread. Cut into half-inch cubes. Set aside. Cook celery, onion red and butter over medium heat. Cook until celery and onions are tender. Add to orange mixture. Cook over low heat for ten minutes. Add cranberry sauce. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Combine the seasoning of the chicken and chicken broth. Add the celery mixture. Cook until the broth is well dissolved. Remove from heat, pour the entire mixture over bread mixture immediately. Mix well and serve with sauce Cranberry extra on the side. Garnish with orange and basil.

These chicken enchiladas recipes are quick, easy and delicious. Just check them and I'm sure you'll be incredibly surprised.

So here we go for chicken enchiladas recipe:

>> Chicken Enchiladas
1 C chopped onion or onion salt 1 t cumin 1 / 2 t powder garlic 10 oz cream of chicken tortilla soup 12 corn and 16 oz can tomatoes, chopped 2 c shredded cheddar cheese 3 breast halves 4 oz chicken chili chopped green

Cover chicken with water and simmer for 30 minutes. Cool, bone, and cut into strips and set aside. Mix tomatoes, soups, chili, cumin and garlic powder. Dip tortillas in chicken broth left from boiling a place on a plate, add 2 c. soup. Mixture and 1 TB of cheese. Roll and place seam side down in pan.

After all, are filled and rolled, pour remaining sauce evenly over the enchiladas and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted (about 20 minutes).

>> Enchiladas chicken baked
1 c chicken broth 1 pt whipping cream or Half & Half 1 pt sour cream 1 c. tablespoons flour 1 c to teaspoon salt Freshly ground black pepper 12 corn tortillas 2 green onions & tops, chopped 2 peppers, cut into strips 1 / 2 lb. grated cheddar cheese cold green sauce, salsa and lettuce, coarsely chopped 3 c cooked chicken breast

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix flour with broth and heat until thickened. Add whipping cream (or half and half), green onion, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in sour cream as well mixed. Dip each tortilla in cream sauce, then arrange chicken and pepper strips down the center of each tortilla. Roll and place in greased baking dish (or spray with food release) attached below. Pour remaining cream sauce over all and bake for 30 min.

Remove from oven and sprinkle grated cheese over all and return to oven until cheese is melted. Place the chopped lettuce rough around the edges of the dish. Serve with a green chili sauce, or raw salsa, or pico de gallo.
