Syrup, peanut butter pie Dixie 3 / 4 cup dark corn 1 / 4 cup Jif creamy peanut butter 3 eggs beaten 1 / 4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla teaspoon salt 1 / 8 1 / 2 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped 1 unbaked pastry shell 8 inches of whipped cream (optional) Preheat oven to 425 º F. Mix corn syrup and Jif. Gradually beat in eggs and sugar until smooth, then stir in vanilla and salt. Arrange chopped peanuts on the bottom of the unbaked crust. Pour butter mixture peanut on peanuts. Bake at 425 º F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 º F and bake for 25 minutes. Cool. Garnish with cream additional chopped nuts and whipped if desired
