During the fall season, I can not wait to go to our orchard of local fruit trees and picking fresh apples. Once I go home I want to get busy cooking … the first time, some freshly baked apple dumplings.

The following recipe to me been given by my great aunt, there are about 15 years. When I do mine, I would make double batches and freeze for later use.

Freezing and Reheating Tips: You can freeze your balls completely cooked before being packed individually each in plastic wrap. A Once they are wrapped, place several of them in a freezer bag or freezer zipper close plastic container.

When you're ready to use, defrost in the microwave on defrost setting for 5 minutes. Then, set your microwave on 75% power and heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through.

Apple Dumplings Recipe

1 1 / 2 cup sugar Granular
1 / 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups water
1 / 4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 1 / 4 to 2 1 / 2 cups all purpose flour
2 v. tea baking powder
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
2 / 3 cup vegetable shortening (not oil)
1 / cup cold milk 2
6 to 7 small apples or 4 to 5 large potatoes
1 / 3 cup granulated sugar
1 / 4 c. Tea Ground Cinnamon

Wash, peel and core your apples. I like my slice apples into wedges, as If I made a homemade pie. Place in large bowl and set aside.

How to make the syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 1 / 2 cups granulated sugar, 1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in 2 cups water and bring mixture to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat to a minimum and simmer for Year 5 to 7 minutes or until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in softened butter. Set the syrup aside.

How to make the ravioli dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Once combined, cut in vegetable shortening until your mixture is crumbly. Slowly stir in cold milk until the batter is completely wetted. With hands, shape dough into a large ball. Roll out the dough on a floured board dough until it becomes a large rectangle. Once it is rolled, cut the dough into 6 to 8 seats. If your dough is slightly sticky, add a little flour.

How Potato Filling: Add 1 / 3 cup granulated sugar, 1 / 4 c. Tea nutmeg and 1 / 4 teaspoon ground cinnamon apple slice. Embed gently by hand until they are coated with sugar mixture.

You want to split your filling by how many spaces you have the dough rolled out. In my case I have separated into 6 to 8 servings. Place some filling on the center one of your squares of dough and sprinkle the top with a knob of butter. Moisten the edges of your dough and fold the corners to attach your filling inside pulp.

Lightly spray a large rectangular baking dish with some nonstick cooking spray. Place your finished pellets inside oven dish. Using a ladle, spoon syrup on top of all the dumplings.

Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees and bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until they have done.

Nestle Toll House cookie recipe for someone in the UK? If different measures, etc.? Help!?

Hello, I heard friends and the Internet that nestle Toll House Choc chip cookies are the best of the best, and I thought to do a lot, but the thing is that revenue I found are all about 'cups etc.' I do not understand (live in england …. do not use these measures …) and lots of performance as 60! I to think only a few to share with a friend. So maybe like … 20? I know I can simply divide the recipe, so I'm happy to do, but as it is difficult to divide a teaspoon three, and stuff like that! Has anyone ever made them in that quantity? I think 25 would be my number Batch perfect. And I need the ingredients in different measures, such as grams or something? Thank you!
