My Mother's Recipe for Rivvel Soup (Rivvels are "Pennsylvania Dutch) 2 cups sifted flour pieces 1 egg beat / 2 tsp salt 1 4 quarts chicken broth Combine 2 cups corn flour, salt and beaten egg and mix until mixture is crumbly. Drop these rivvels in broth. Add corn and simmer for 10 or 15 minutes. Recipe motherboard does not say, but I suppose the stock is already very hot when you add the rivvels and corn.
