recipes chocolate desserts

I'll start my wife's infamous apple spice cake recipe with a brief history. One day, my wife is preparing for a "single woman" part (or at least that's why she gave when she told me why I could not come). I was at work when she called in a panic, asking my advice on what to do for dessert, she forgot to prepare for the feast.
She was only 2 hours until it absolutely had to be in the car on the road, so she needed something she could not establish with certainty and something she would not be embarrassed to serve. So I did a quick reflection on my feet, and reminded him how much I loved her spices Apple Cake recipe she made for me a few weeks ago (with my main hope is that there will be leftovers when she gets back from his party).
His answer was simply "Aha! Love ya honey …" and then abruptly hanging up. When I returned I found her standing near the oven, counting down the minutes until it is finished. This stuff is very good – you can not leave his side.
Anyway Regardless, here's how it is:
1) Take your 12-inch Dutch oven. If you do not, you will need one – except for that, then something else. We love ours.
2) You'll need to peel, core, slice, and Ward 8 large apples (we prefer Granny Smith). Place the apples in the Dutch oven with 1 / 2 cup chopped walnuts, 1 / 2 cup raisins, 1 cup dark brown sugar, 1 / 2 cup walnuts minced, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 tablespoon nutmeg and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder.
3) Then, you Simply pour your cake batter in the oven, making sure to cover all the property thoroughly, leaving no view your apples. Spread the dough making sure it is still around.
4) Bake the mixture in your Dutch oven for 1 hour 8-10 briquettes on bottom and 14-16 briquettes on top. This is especially the amount of time arbitrary and can vary depending on the oven you use. If you can push the center of the cake and save up POP, then your cake is ready.
We like to finish off this recipe with some healthy whipped cream, but the amount is at your discretion. Enjoy!

Recipes $22.01 2006 IACP Award Winner: General Category! Preface by Martha Stewart. Recipes. Cooking all comes down to the recipes — those ingredient-by-ingredient, technique-by-technique, step-by-step instructions. In Recipes, Susan Spungen, founding food editor and editorial director for food at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia for twelve years, presents her own easy, unfettered ideas for cooking simple food rich with freshness and flavors to share with family and friends. Recipes is organized by technique, explaining why sautéing is great for two or four but when feeding a crowd braising is the better choice. Prepare focuses on the basics, from making a vinaigrette to roasting garlic and peppers. Chop includes not just salads, but gazpacho and a Provençal sandwich that requires knife skills. Sauté explains how to pan-sear fish and make a layered omelet. Grill shows proper techniques for cooking scallops, asparagus, and steak over an open fire. Roast offers the perfect roast chicken and a roasted squash salad. Bake features a variety of pizzas as well as mushrooms baked in parchment paper. Simmer and Braise coaxes the most flavors from soups and lamb shanks. Finally, there’s Indulge, a selection of desserts from simple brownies and peach melba to a fruit crisp and a rich chocolate cake. Susan believes that one of the most pleasurable parts of a meal should be the making of it. Recipes encourages home cooks to become confident cooks. |
