I can not stand vegetables?
I simply can not bear a lot of vegetables. I really need to start eating more but I can not bring myself to it. Everyone says that I must try to find different vegetables and prepare them in different ways, they grow on me. Can anyone give me some recipes for preparing vegetables that are healthy and different? Everything I never really done is a salad of carrots as a snack, and if I feel different, I steam some and put it in soy sauce (which is not so healthy, because it's loaded with sodium). In my work, (an Italian place) that we do things such as pasta with cream sauce with asparagus, and it's really great! Any other kind of ideas (not necessarily sauce for pasta) as they would be very appreciated
If you Finely grated carrots, you can put them in pasta sauce, stew, chili, etc. You do not really taste of carrot, but it will add sweetness (to counter the acidity of tomatoes) and act as a thickener. You can puree cooked cauliflower and put it into the puree, it actually tastes quite similar made this way …. Oprah had a book that had all kinds of recipes to get kids to eat vegetables. I think the woman Jerry Seinfeld wrote and is (perhaps) called "Deceptively Delicious". My daughter made brownies with spinach in it, and nobody could taste it! There was a lot of dessert recipes here too ….
