$3 Low-Sodium Meals:
$10.16 250+ simple, cost-busting, healthy recipes for great low-salt meals and more. Salt. America’s on overload. Unlike fat, which shows before you know it, sodium works in silent, stealthy ways to damage our health—and there’s too much of it in just about everything we eat these days. Most of it comes from processed foods, including restaurant fare, which cost more money than what you can make from scratch easily, economically, and, yes, flavorfully right at home. And that’s where 3 Low-Sodium Meals comes in. Ellen Brown presents more than 250 tried-and-true recipes, none of which take more hands-on time than listening to the evening news—and all of which cost less than 3 per serving for your whole meal. She also shows you how to save money in the supermarket, explains the role salt plays in cooking, and tells you what foods to watch out for. You’ll keep yourself and your family healthy and happy, and they’ll never even know what you’re up to. |
