Anyone have a good recipe for pork chops in the crock pot?
I have apples, applesauce, apple cider, sauerkraut. What can I do for something easy and tasty?
4 pork chops with bone (I get the chops thick enough they do not dry in the slow cooker) 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 c. Tea pepper 2 c. tablespoons vegetable oil 6 tbsp tablespoons butter 2 cups ketchup 1 / 2 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp Tea hickory-flavored liquid smoke (do not miss not!) Sprinkle pork chops with garlic powder, salt and pepper. In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil on both sides. In a bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar and liquid smoke. Pour half the sauce into the bottom of a casserole. Top with chops pork, butter and remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 4-1/4 to 5 hours or until meat is tender
